WORKING WITH COLORS AND PAINT
Color is one the magic ingredients of interior decorating. You can create illusions, personalize the walls by applying touches of your character or personality, or adopt a certain style. More importantly, a good choice with these two may just save you both money and time, sparing you from buying additional furniture and hangings.
While it is easy to outwardly say what your favorite color is, it may just become a little challenging when it comes to applying it to your home. The harder part is, there is just too much color to choose from. To get started with colors, you must be ready to answer one simple question - What one or two colors would you like as your main or dominant shades? From the previous topics, which discussed about the things you should consider before proceeding, you should by now be ready to answer that question.
Once you have decided, you are ready to start painting. Remember to buy only quality paint, preferable latex. It may cost a little more expensive but it will surely cover surfaces better and last longer. Since you will be doing the painting yourself, you will save from the labor you are supposed to pay. Before painting, clean the walls and prepare all your materials. Don't start painting only to realize that your rollers are still in their plastic.
