FIRST THINGS FIRST
Being a PRO in interior decorating does not have to mean expensive materials, furnishings and chandeliers or a mansion. Though having those will surely help make your job easier, it is not necessarily a determinant if your decorating project succeeded or not.
Before starting off with your Home Decor Project, it is always helpful to have a plan. Moving furniture just right up without any specific plans in mind will eat all your energy in no time and will unlikely improve your output. So what are the things you have to consider first?
Budget is a big deal; even PROS need to have it planned. So big that without it you won't even get to start. Settle then your budget but always allot an allowance just in case.
Determine your lifestyle. Do you love to cook? This should mean that a lot of your effort will have to be devoted on the kitchen more than the rest of the rooms? Do you often have guests? Do you have kids? Are you home only to take a bath and sleep? These questions will assist you decide which room to start decorating or which to prioritize.
Now with your budget settled and your lifestyle determined decide which part or parts of your home or the space project would you want decorated or redecorated? With the answer in mind, make an estimate how much of your total budget will be allotted for each section. You may want to allot a bigger amount for your living room because you will surely make the most changes there.
When all is clear about what space or room you are going to treat as your decoration project and how much, it is time to decide when to start doing it. As soon as possible is not impossible.
