BEDROOM
The
bedroom
is the
most
private
area in
any
home,
usually
of the
same
level as
your
bathroom.
The
challenge
to
decorate
it
depends
on whose
room it
is. For
the
masters’
bedroom,
which is
usually
bigger
than any
other
bedroom,
decorating
is much
simpler
and more
general
when
compared
to
decorating
a kids’
bedroom,
which
requires
a lot of
details.
So to
get
started:
Choose a
theme
for your
bedroom.
Teens’
bedrooms
are
usually
based on
their
favorite
hobby or
sports
such as
music,
soccer,
etc; and
most of
the
time,
changed/replaced
almost
immediately.
An
adult’s
room on
the
other
hand is
much
more
general
and is
not
based on
a
specific
topic
but on a
general
concept
of
theme,
like
victorian,
zen,
traditional,
gothic
and the
like.
So, if
you’re
decorating
a
teenager’s
room,
think
ahead
and
expect
that
anything
you do
may not
last a
year.
For
adults,
it is
best to
consider
the
lifestyle
and mood
of the
room
owner.
If
that’s
you,
then you
are the
only one
who can
answer
the
question.
Lamp
shades
or
lights
always
add a
cozy
look to
a
bedroom.
Arrange
it
beside
the bed
to allow
some
reading
time
before
sleeping.
To
replace
lamp
shades,
you can
use
another
set of
bulbs
for dim
light in
your
room so
that you
ca
easily
shift to
them
when you
don’t
need the
bright
light of
the
other
light.
Beds
that are
full
with a
lot of
other
things
such as
over 20
stuff
toys or
too much
pillows,
is not
attractive
at all.
They
just may
take all
your
space as
well. So
if you
are
collecting
some
stuff,
it might
be
better
to have
a
separate
rack of
cabinet
for them
than
keep
them all
on your
bed or
your bed
table.
For
fabric,
valence
curtains
are
great on
bedrooms
with air
conditioning.
They add
a serene
feel to
the room
and they
also
keep the
cold air
from
leaving
the
room.
Laces,
beads
and
ribbons
also
look
good on
tables
inside
the
bedroom.
